In news that shouldn’t shock anyone who have been reading here or the internet in general, CHUCK has picked up 6 new episodes.
We confirmed the news with NBC. We are still not being told when CHUCK will air next. We just know it will now be 19 episodes and not 13.
CHUCK Fans Will Get 6 More Episodes To Watch Sarah Show Up In Slow Motion
When do you think we will find out when Chuck comes back? I am suprised NBC hasn’t released a press release about this. Gaspin hasn’t said much about Chuck at all. However based on the extra episodes I assume he likes the show.
Mark Christopher Lawrence (aka Big Mike) also confirmed via Twitter that the cast today was notified “officially” about the 6 additional episodes.
Now all we need is a premiere date
If the release date is going to be January as some have speculated, then release the Season 2 DVDs DECEMBER 5th, NOT January 5th!
If you want to sell DVDs and promote the show’s (possible) January return, have the freakin’ DVDs on the store shelves in December so they can be purchased and given as Christmas gifts. This is a no-brainer.
And I’d find it hard to believe that they’re not “ready to go” or couldn’t be made ready to go over the next month.
Either way, MORE CHUCK is GREAT, FANTASTIC, AWESOME news!!
The DVD/Blu-rays have been ‘ready to go’ for months.
Well, at last an official confirmation on the six additional episodes! I thought I
would never live to see the day, they have
finally confirmed SOMETHING!!!
Now let’s see if we can official confirmation on an air date. I’ll believe it when I see it.
For those who think I’m stirring the waters
again, please refer the original unconfirmed announcement where I’ve left
additional comments on reactions to my
original blog which apparently struck a
few nerves. Enjoyed reading them, though.
At least it shows people do care very much
about the show, even if opinions differ.
Will be looking forward to reading more
comments on this, thanks.
I love Chuck and I am glad to see NBC showing some faith in the show!
Now why the hell hasn’t Yvonne Strahovski been a guest on Leno? If they want to skew younger they should stop with the guests who might have been hot 30 years ago *g*
And get a desk!
Kermonk, well if NBC is smart they have her on the week before the show comes back.
They NBC is smart, they should let her do more of the promoting. Afterall, this show is aiming at young male viewers right?
When do we find out when Chuck is coming back? Do we have to wait until the end of November?
NBC is really hush hush about all things Chuck. They had a press release about Community, Parks etc getting picked up but we needed the crew via twitter to get confirmation about Chuck’s extension. Strange going’s on at NBC. You would think we are dealing with the NSA here. So much secrecy.
January 10th folks. Two episodes on the tenth and one more on the eleventh. Season three here we come.
