I too was a loyal watcher and fan of Moonlight only to have the morons at CBS pull the plug on it - looks like they're doing the same thing to Three Rivers. TBTP just don't get it - new shows, like Three Rivers, take time to develope but unless they come out at top 10 from the start, this lame network writes them off and moves on. I do not watch too much TV but it seems that the shows that I did enjoy do not fit what CBS calls successful. Once again, the viewer gets screwed because of the $$$$$. Guess I will either find another network to watch or give up TV altogether. Thanks for screwing us once again, CBS - CBS sucks!

I have watched Three Rivers from the start and each episode has been fantastic. Alex O'Loughlin, as always, gives an award worthy performance. He is just a brilliant actor, and his hard work and passion for his roles is obvious. I am so glad that Three Rivers has been nominated for the PCA for Best New Drama.

I watched Three Rivers last Sunday because of Mandy. He os a great actor.
But I won't watch the show again
They should had Mandy as the lead instead of that terrible Alex whatever. He looks so uncomfortable in that role that it hurts each time he talks
Kate is a little better in her role, just a little
And the rest of the cast, I don't even remember
their names

Thank you for you comments regarding Three Rivers. I love this show and continually watch every week. I wish more of the TV audience would realize what they are missing by not watching Three Rivers each week. This week's episode with Mandy Patkin was beyond any words I could write about it. I will say I agree with everyone that Mandy Patkin deserves an emmy for his performance as Victor. I hope Three Rivers will get another nine episodes from CBS so more will be able to fall in love with this show like we did.

I consider myself one of the Luckiest Viewers for watching this outstanding episode of Three Rivers. Heck, yes, an Emmy should be considered for Mandy P's performance! I have resisted falling in love with this show because of my hearthbreak over the loss of Moonlight, but, you're right, better to have loved and lost than never.... oh you know the rest!

I see your point , I guess each one has to do what feel is right.
I had llots of shows canceled before , but this was the 1st time a network says the show is coming back to suddenly canceled it and later saying everything was about Alex , making me feel like a brainless woman watching a show because the actor is soo hot.
You , maybe right and I may be missing good shows because of this, but hey because of this I started watching Desperate H. and I realized I was missing a great show
BTW , I watch CBS except for Fridays & Sundays

Lucia, I actually said that I watched Three Rivers despite whether or not it may be be canceled. I too was upset that Moonlight was canceled, and much like you I didn't watch it for Alex, I watched it because it was a good show. But the fact is, if I boycotted a network because they cancel a show that I happen to love, then I wouldn't have any networks left to watch. In fact I never would have seen Moonlight or Three Rivers because I was boycotting CBS due to Jericho. I saw that the ratings went down for this week's episode when the finals came out today. It's too bad, a lot of people missed a standout performance.

I heard Mandy was great. Stil, the demo was 1.8 instead of the 2.1 they reported last Monday.
You said you never watched TR because you thought it may get canceled. Well, you are not the only one that doesn't watch a new show because of that.
In my case, I was one of the Moonlight fans mistreated and made fun of by CBS, So ,I never watched a second of Three Rivers. And believe me, I am not the only one
For a few,CBS bringing back Alex made everything Ok, but cheking the ratings you see for a lot of us that meant nothing, because we thought for the whole Moonlight never just for Alex
I hope with thisCBS to realize treating viewers badly is no good for business
And I don't care what Alex fans say, Numbers are there, Moonlight viewers did not follow Three Rivers

Three Rivers gets better and more exciting to watch each week. Mandy Patinkin's guest appearance on The Luckiest Man episode deserves an Emmy Award. The entire talented cast on Three Rivers is simply astounding in every episode. This is a fantastic and such an eye opener medical drama, with beautiful and tug at the heart strings story lines in every episode. Three Rivers, a refreshing and unique drama, deserves a second season on the best and most highly watched prime time network, CBS.
